Maserati presented its GranTurismo MC Concept , a race-going version of its GranTurismo S to the local media and guests at the Monza circuit on occasion of the company’s Maserati Day event.
Called the MC Corse, the technicians from the Triden marque have upgraded the engine’s output to 450 bhp with 510Nm of torque kicking in at 4,750 rpm.
Other enhancements made to ready this car for the track include a new intake system, competition-spec catalytic converters, a center-exit exhaust and an enhanced suspension. Aerodynamic side skirts, enlarged brake discs with monobloc racing calipers, 18-inch wheels, and an FIA-certified rollcage complete the racing package.
The car is set to be officially unveiled at the Paris Motor Show next month.
